Techno-Economic Assessment of LPG operated Porous Radiant Burner based Cook-stoves for Commercial Cooking Applications

Abstract The present study is to conduct a Techno-economic Assessment of 5-7 kW Porous Radiant Burner (PRB) – based LPG cook-stove operating in eateries and restaurants. Process flow has been performed primarily understand the technological process involved PRB also estimate cost manufacturing. estimation done considering direct costs such as material labor costs, indirect factory works administration costs. Sensitivity analysis production capacity 50, 250 500 cook-stoves each day. An economic feasibility by estimating Pay Back Period, Net Present Value Internal Rate Return. For manufacturing per day, yields 51.4% return on investment with payback period 0.68 years. Adopting PRB-based small, medium large-scale results an annual saving Rs. 77500, 235000 1170000, indicating that are undoubtedly economically viable.
